Accepting donations can be an important part of running an event site. Many times people will want to help your cause, but won’t be able to physically attend the event. Fortunately, we have taken that into consideration and made the option to have a page for straight donations available. By displaying this page, people can register for a donation as if they are registering for any other package. They will receive a follow up thank you email, and will appear in the back-end of your site with all of the other registrants.
The first thing you’ll want to do is head to the Donations page in your Event Manager. The page is pretty straight forward. If you’d like the utilize the Donations page on your site, click the box that says “Display Donations Page”. Then, you will want to add a couple zeros after the minimum donation (just in case somebody wants to donate more than $1,000). Once these changes are saved, take a look at your site and you should see the Donations page displayed in two places. One will be as a button on the top, and one in the navigation.
